Want to Get More Involved?

Interested businesses are encouraged to participate with Arbor Education & Training.

Option 1: Guest Employer
Join other professionals within the community and provide valuable interview tips and feedback to young adults completing our work-readiness training. (2-4 hour commitment; varies by site and number of participants)

Option 2: Corporate Host
Open up your business environment to a small group of young adults, who are preparing to enter the workforce. These young adults will use space within your business to complete a week long work-readiness training. (5 day commitment)

Option 3: Internship Supervisor
Businesses and Arbor Education & Training agree to a partnership that allows young adults entering the work place for the first time an opportunity to experience work and training first hand. (Maximum 8 week commitment)

Youth Development Program

Internships
Arbor’s Youth Development Project focuses on motivation and work-readiness when seeking employment opportunities. We provide youth the tools to develop skills necessary for future employment in a competitive job market.

Employer’s commitment includes:

Mentor and inspire confidence in the Intern;
Evaluate progress on a weekly basis; and
Ensure Interns complete learning objectives

Arbor’s commitment to you:

To present the employer with reliable Interns who meet the qualifications set forth by
   you;
Ensure that the Interns are personally and professionally prepared for success on the   
   site; and
Provide on-going support to the Interns
